Bringing the Country music scene to Bolsa Chica State Beach with SeaSalt Honky Tonk at the Beach. Following a complete transformation, the longtime concession stand has been reimagined as a vibrant, country-western-inspired hotspot featuring live entertainment, bold barbecue, and plenty of room to dance on the sand.
At the heart of the new SeaSalt experience is a can’t-miss culinary collaboration with Heritage Barbecue—a Michelin Bib Gourmand winner, Food & Wine’s pick for one of America’s Best New Barbecue Spots and a 2025 James Beard Award finalist. Known for its smoked meats and inventive Texas-meets-California flavor, Heritage Barbecue is now serving up a crave-worthy menu that includes sandwiches, tacos and nachos, as well as other handheld favorites perfect for the beach. Plus, SeaSalt will be offering a weekend Blue Grass Brunch with bottomless pancakes that’s sure to become a fan favorite!
SeaSalt Honky Tonk at the Beach will offer a full slate of weekly programming designed to bring the fun—and the country lovers—together. Every weekend, guests can enjoy:
- Live country music every weekend at 2pm from national tribute acts, local musicans and established artists
- Bluegrass Brunch with bottomless pancakes and mimosas from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday
- Line dancing lessons starting at 1 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday
- A Sunday residency from local legends Redneck Rodeo, bringing a taste of Nashville to Huntington Beach
- Western Family Nights on Friday evenings by Raul Esperanza, complete with themed photo ops, coastal sunsets and country tunes for all ages

Heritage BBQ
Heritage Barbecue is a celebrated Central Texas-style BBQ joint located in San Juan Capistrano, California. Founded by Chef Daniel Castillo, it has garnered acclaim for its authentic smoked meats and has been recognized by the MICHELIN Guide with a Bib Gourmand designation, highlighting its quality and value. Heritage Barbecue is expanding its presence to Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach with a new venture called SeaSalt Smokehouse, set to open on Saturday, May 3, 2025. This beachside concept aims to offer a more casual, grab-and-go experience compared to their flagship location in San Juan Capistrano.
